The green beauty streamer

Was reading a book last night by Joseph D. Bates titled Streamer Fly Tying and Fishing it has several very nice color plates of different types of streamers all famous patterns of the time. The streamer I picked to tie is a pattern by Carrie Stevens and is called The Green Beauty. Not near as nice as hers but representative . ENJOY!!!

I like the wrap of red thread on the head....I've done that on a few that I have tied, which I might add, LOOK NOTHING LIKE THAT!!!!! Always a pleasure to see what you've been tying! Nice job.
