The Arts of the Angler Show (from The Catskill Fly Fishing Center and Museum @ CCFCM.net)
An event for the entire fly fishing community focusing on the arts of the Angler: Fly Tying, Rod Making, Visual Art, and Fly Fishing Collectibles.
November 10 & 11, 2007 at The Ethan Allen Inn, Danbury CT
Livingston Manor, NY. The highly acclaimed Arts of the Angler Show was originated and managed by Fly Fishing University in 2004 & 2005. Through a special arrangement, Fly Fishing University has transferred ownership to The Catskill Fly Fishing Center and Museum (CFFCM) in recognition of their presence as the hub of the fly fishing community and to benefit their future growth. This year’s show will be very much like the previous shows and include a live consignment auction, authors, special classes, demonstrations and clinics, and a select group of vendors to satisfy any fly fishers needs.
Feature programs will include:
• Master Fly Tying Courses from the most talented tyers in the USA
• Bamboo Rod Identification and repair workshops.
• Antique Fly Fishing Roadshow- Free identification and value estimates from independent experts
• Rod Making Demonstration
Saturday November 10, 2007: 9:30AM-5PM, Special Buffet Dinner available at 5:30 followed by live auction at 7PM.
Sunday, November 11, 2007: 9:30AM-4:00PM
