To all,
Len Ruggia will kick off Shannon's Sunday Morning Fly Tying this coming Sunday 11/13/2011. The classes are at 9:30am and 11:30am and they are free. Beginners are welcome. Please bring a vise if you have one and any tools. Also we have a few tickets left for this Saturday's (11/12/2011) the NJ Fly Fisherman of the Year One Fly Contest and Banquet celebrating the 40th Anniversary of the NJ State Council of Trout Unlimited. Tickets are $60.00 and there is an auction benefitting TU's coldwater conservation programs accross New Jersey. Lots of cool stuff and some interesting speakers too. Lenny and Jim are 2 GREAT PEOPLE -- Unfortunately I have to work so I cant make the Event -- Lenny is also a conusieur (SP) of antique and bamboo fly rods -- If you have some unusual equipment he is always interested in it.

Funny how I found this out I was talking with Lenny one day about a really really old Horrick Ibotson fly reel I have -- Its so old the center of the spool is made of cork and it has a machine screw holding the spool to the shaft -- He asked me to bring it in so he could research it -- Horrick Ibotson was known for making rods not reels -- Lenny couldn't find any real info on the reel but when he saw his eyes lit up

Like I said -- They are really 2 GREAT GUYS
