Fished Quashnet River today, had some luck with a green machine in size six. Caught the same fish I,ve been catching all year, but they're growing. Don't think these fish have been to the salt yet.

Nice catch, so do you fish the State Reservation on the Quashnet

I think the banks from rt 28 upstream are state land ? I park at Martin Rd and walk upstream. One of my goals is to fish downstream from there, closer to the bay, but I haven't done that yet.

I really like what TU has done to restore the quashnet and red brook. The quashnet was polluted by old cranberry bogs, but now it is turning into a little jem of a brookie stream.
