The One didn't get alot of love from people when it came out, not as much as the Z did. I thought about upgrading my 9'6" Z to the One until I cast one. Curious what you like about the One. I'll ask a few people, if I can stay in the cabin for $100 a night.

Hey John. Check out this guy on ebay. He builds a sweet ride and you can get it for 500 I would think. Maybe less

No sir. I sold my sage one last year 10ft 5 weight. You can pick these up on ebay for that price range pretty easily though. My fly rod of choice is the radian. I am also a fan of the loop optistream rod. I may pick up a winston nexus this year. Any questions

I like the sage one because its super light in the hand and has great touch even at longer distances. That was a major problem with the helios IMO, no touch on that rod though it is a cannon for chucking streamers. Aside from sage one I'm also big on the G Loomis NRX but the color on that thing is hideous.

I know I'm in the minority, but I like the NRX with the blue wraps, different from everything else, which are all some variation of an olive green blank.

Negative ghost rider the scott radian is an unsanded charcoal with a great reel seat. The loop optistream is like a bluish grey blank. Both very nice rods with aesthestics

Ok, its a little turqouise, but is very fishy. You know the sea is turqouise, fish live in the sea, its all connected.

When I finally procure my NRX, taking it out of the tube will be like taking 300 WinMag out of the case. A powerful, fish-catching weapon. That will cancel out the contaminating Beetle image.
