Rx sunglasses

Hi Folks,

I just finished reviewing some older threads on Rx Sunglasses. Action optics, Maui Jim, and Orvis seemed to be the favorites, with AO getting the most recommendations. All of the posts were at least a couple of years old, so I just wanted to see if people had any more recent comments. Any new manufacturers out there I should check out? Has AO gone to pot in the last two years? Any comments would be appreciated.

Also, I need to decide on a good all-round color for the lens. I've read that light brown or copper is a good general lens.

I love my Costa's in Amber. They are SWEET and comfy. Also help out greatly when driving in snow!!!

Love my AOs in amber. Last summer I was stupid and wore them in the pool playing with the kid. They fell off and got stepped on (by me) and broke the frame. I sent them back and gave them my credit card info and asked them to charge me for new frames and shipping - just send them back ASAP as I use them all the time. I got brand new ones in a few days with no charge - even no shipping fees. They have my business for life!

Go with the Maui Jim's they have a new lens out that is great. I also would go with the amber
