Welcome back to the new NEFF. Take a break from Twitter and Facebook. You don't go to Dicks for your fly fishing gear, you go to your local fly fishing store. Enjoy!

I am haunted by waters

things were slow, but anglers were hooking up, got this guy in one of the holes Rusty & crew dug out.
the spring should be total madness!
i may hit it a few more times this fall. hopeful that the rain we've been promised arrives and gets the water moving.

this might be the the trout that has the most girth to it since i started, things were slow, i was on the water for hours before i hit this one, i saw a bunch hanging in the tail waters, and guys were landing fish here and there, it was a nice day to be outside though, and i'm glad this one took my fly, lil punk swallowed it in fact.

i still consider myself "new" to the world of trout, i always wondered why some have variations in their colors, guess it's just the nature of things, or maybe camouflage, depending on the water and underwater structure.

yes, this trout was in one of your new holes! the one where i introduced myself. it's been fishing well, i got beat sunday, but guys were pulling them in where the digs took place.

There's some momentum to have a private stocking of Kamloops bows and browns from Musky Trout Hatchery into Point Mountain later this fall and possibly late winter/early spring. Shannon's is spearheading it to support the local fly fishing community that supports the shop. Others are kicking in funds as well.

Ok Rusty....I'll go put more money in that damn can!!!!!:)

i prefer the Musky, it's where i caught my first trout on the fly. if the kamloops trout hold there it would be amazing.

hit the Pt. Mt. again yesterday, and got two, sucker spawn style.
also picked up a book on nymphing at the tying symposium and talked to squirmels i believe.
nice fall saturday.

I think Dennis is trying to napalm the site one feature at a time to scare away the last 4 hold outs and shut this thing down so he can join the Drake.
