NJ State Council Women's Initiative invites all female Trout Unlimited members to an Open House on Saturday, June 1, 2013 from 1:00pm-4:00pm. Located at a private residence in Hampton, NJ, enjoy an afternoon with Women TU members on the Musconetcong River. Seasoned anglers bring your gear to fish, New to the sport consider bringing a friend to learn the basics of fly casting, river reading strategies, fly tying, gear information, and cold water conservation. We are very much looking forward to this event on a beautiful stretch of the Musky we restored last year. I think there are more than 33 ladies signed up to fish that day. Should be the first of several events focused on bringing female fly anglers together to help grow TU's ranks. A great job, KBuchta!
