Welcome back to the new NEFF. Take a break from Twitter and Facebook. You don't go to Dicks for your fly fishing gear, you go to your local fly fishing store. Enjoy!

New to the forum

Ausable10

All I want is a 24 inch brown!!!
Hi all,

I'm new to this forum..joined yesterday. As you can tell by my name, I primarily fish the Ausable in the Adirondacks. I live on Long Island, so fishing the lower Catskill rivers like the Willow, Beaverkill, and Esopus would be much easier, but I prefer the north country. I was actually up in Roscoe over the weekend looking for new fishing spots...maybe I'll go up this weekend and give it a shot. I work as a mechanical designer for a defense company on Long Island and recently re-acquired a taste for fly fishing. I used to fish the Willow more than 30 yrs ago with my dad. To use an old Jerry McInnis line "Thanks dad, for having the time to take me fishing". I'm looking forward to participating on this site and hope to gather much more information about the Catskill rivers in the process. Thanks in advance.
