Dries, wets, nymphs and streamers...it's all good!
Rugby10 and I are heading out soon to take on another small creek. We are going to start off on the Kinderhook Creek and go from there. This creek was has two major floods in the last 3 years. 3 years ago it overran it's banks so much that it devastated a local drag race and dirt track called Lebanon Valley speedway. We fished it later that year and did not even see a fish, and then of course there was Irene. We are going to check out a few of Rugby's favorite spots and go from there. If worse comes to worse, we'll head north and fish the area I did last weekend. Hopefully next week we'll be floating the 'toon for the first time.
We'll post up a report later today, whether good or bad.
It's 28 degrees out right now. When I am steelhead fishing, I look forward to weather this nice, when trout fishing, it just seems cold.....
Well I dropped my morning deuce, it's time to head out.
