INFO: Site going down for Migration - READ

All,

Tonight, the site will go down for a few days.

We are switching hosts and expect this to take at least 2-3 days. During this time, the software will be updated to the latest versions. This means that some items will be lost within the process, for example, thank you's, groans, some of the modifications will definetely be gone but not for good. They will all be re-added as the site is migrated to the new hosting place.

Sorry for any inconvenience but this is something that has needed be done for a long time. I hope to preserve ALL posts and usernames.

Hey, could you "mistakenly" lose certain user names?

Maybe we can just get rid of that user name(it's happened twice already, yes?) the old fashioned way whence we return...

This is a pain in the ass. I'm running into some issues.

When the site is migrated, some of you will run into LOGIN problems. They should all be resolved by simply clearing your cookies.

So far this is the toughest migration I've ever had to do for this site. I hope to have everything back in working order today. We are now moved off of Powebsux.com and are paying a bit more for hosting. Hopefully the new host will be much better.

Please do not report issues in this thread, I'll start a new thread where you can post anything that you see wrong.
