Well,
I needed to get one last chance to fish the West Branch and Mainstem of the Delaware in the man's boat. Mission accomplished.
Highlights included meeting Mr. Tony Ritter and having an on going conversation while he was guiding his client and I was hitting all of the spots. Great guy, FYI.
Size 18 BWO emerger was the fly of choice -- targets were few -- but I did manage to hit three trout - one in the Lake area below Stockport and two above Buckingham, after a guide and his client gave up on a particular spot.
Lydia's was the last stop -- always an interesting crowd mix of locals, tourists and local guides getting a few more trips in before the season ends.
The foliage was just starting to turn at that time and was not in peak.
Did not get a chance to smoke my cigars -- maybe next season.
