How high is too high on the BFB?

Have yet to fish BFB, thought of making a day trip out of it on saturday. obviously we are supposedly getting dumped on but was i hoping experienced BFB'ers could provide some insight on maximum fishable flow up there. thanks

It's fishable in spots now, but on the high side. However, we're not getting the rains initially predicted and that stream will fall fairly quickly as it is a freestoner. There are 2 gauges, one at Hainesville and the other at Flatbrookville. Upper is running 105 cfs now and lower is 315 cfs, both of which are well over norms but not flood stage or near it. Take a look later tomorrow and if it's falling you should have good fishing by Saturday.

Upper gauge is over 200 today. I would still fish it, but stay on the upper reaches of the river. Look for current breaks close to the bank. Places where you may normally stand may have fish holding in them today.
