Prices are high because of supply and demand, and right now China and India are the key markets really driving the prices up, and by 2010 their demand is estimated to quadruple.
Al Gore is a joke. Flying around in his private jet he consumes more fossils fuels in one flight than most of us do per capita in one year. He must buy alot of carbon credits.
