Just finished "Land of Little Rivers"!
From the Catskill Fly Fishing Museum...
Fly Fest is the first event of the new year, February 9th. There back. Once again the museum will come alive with the arrival of 50+ fly tyers for a day of feather bending, clipping and swapping. This is now an annual event under the direction of members Jim Martin, John Bonasera and CFFCM trustee and secretary Jack Ganz. This informal gathering of fly tyers was designed by fly tyers as a way to get out of the house and gather for the first time in the new year. Fly fest is also and indicator that opening day of trout season usually follows six weeks later.
If weather allows, and we have a frozen pond, we will also hold Jan Weido Ice Capades...you can fish or bring the kids to ice skate. Hot dogs and hot chocolate will be served in the vavilion. Its always a fine day to get out. Call for ice conditions. 1-845-439-4810
