Yeah, just to add to what Mad said. I'd look outside the immediate Miami area. There are a few options to consider - blue water or flats, gulf side, ocean side, or keys. I have a world class guide to recommend who works out of Sanibel Island, but the keys are way closer.
If you've never done this kind of fishing, I would make a strong case for finding a flats guide who can take you somewhere with four or five species of fish to target. It's a great way to learn about the ecosystem and redfish, snook, and speckled trout are all around in abundance in March, loads of fun on a fly rod, and present different challenges.
Tarpon are great but the best tarpon opportunities typically come later in spring when the water warms up a bit, and with one or two days to fish I think it would be a mistake to set your sights exclusively on tarpon. Just my opinion.
I'd find a guide who gets good reviews somewhere down near islamorada and tell him to put you on whatever fish are biting in the flats and mangroves. I've had great days down there catching the less glamorous fish - specks, sheepshead, redfish and even ladyfish - all of which are good sport and most of which will make an awesome dinner at the end of the day.
have fun - i'm jealous. With a three week old at home and a heavy work schedule ahead, I'm not sure any flats fishing is in my future this spring. Post some photos if you go.
