I have a UDC meeting tonight and had to prepare the following data so why not share it.

Callicoon USGS Station – Ice / water: 32 degrees
Hale Eddy USGS Station on West Branch – 2.6” open water and water: 46 degrees – open and low water – with sun warming riffles low /high water 8 degrees [38 to 46] from 6am to 6pm
Water release from Cannonsville – not much: 85 cfs
East Branch at Fishs Eddy USGS Station – water: 42 degrees

From NYC DEP:
April 2 2015
Cannonsville Storage: 59.8%
Pepacton Storage: 68.6%
Croton Storage: 100+%
Total NYC reservoir storage – 74.7%
Normal for this date – 93.4%
Below precip for the past 3 months (Jan, Feb, Mar)
Actual: 5.93”
Normal: 9.23”
35% below normal precip for the past 90 days

Snow depth at Cannonsville:
4/1/15 – 6.2”
3/18 – 9.1”
3/5 – 20.8”
2/18 – 17.4”
1/20 – 4.2”

Good morning.

USGS Chart for Callicoon today Friday April 3rd.

Levels have gone up a foot in the last 24 hours due to melt and I am assuming that ice has now broken in Miller's Eddy and Callicoon Pool and heading towards Narrowsburg by later this afternoon into the evening where it will back up over the weekend at The Narrows / Interstate NY-PA Bridge.

It's quite a sight if the ice floes are big.
