Welcome back to the new NEFF. Take a break from Twitter and Facebook. You don't go to Dicks for your fly fishing gear, you go to your local fly fishing store. Enjoy!

Catskill region river reports for this week.

Catskill

Catskill Junky
This looks like another magnificent weak of rain or scattered showers with a T-Storm thrown in here and there. The weekends
weather looks like rain, rain, and more rain while the temp should remain in the upper 50's to mid to upper 60's.

I'll start off by saying that All rivers are looking good. The rain that we plan on having should not affect anything as long as it is tamed. is that possible? It's presently 76 on my thermometer and the water temp is at 64. The rivers have receded pretty good and are good for wading. The West Branch is about 365 which makes for easy wading. The main stem is still pretty high but carefull wading can be accomplished in some areas.

And now, a list of hatching insects: march browns, Grey Fox, spinners, coffin fly's, various caddis, large stones, sulphers, isonychia's, terrestrials, and you can try a perla nymph imitation (see below).

The fishing has been pretty good as of late sunday.
