This site is a diary farm on the banks of the <st1><st1>Musconetcong</st1><st1> </st1></st1>with an important spawning tributary running through it. TU is planning a river restoration project using Joseph Urbani & Associates out of <st1><st1:city w:st="on">Bozeman</st1:city>, <st1:state w:st="on">MT</st1:state></st1> to complete the river restoration and fish habitat enhancement project in 2011. The funds for the riparian restoration came from the North Jersey Resource & Conservation Development and the future river restoration funding will come from the Natural Resources Conservation Service, a part of the USDA. TU will perform a second riparian buffer planting on this property in the fall of 2010 using USFWS funds to increase the existing buffer along the <st1><st1>Musconetcong</st1><st1> </st1></st1>River; the plantings on the 22nd will be on the West Portal Brook section of this farm. <o></o>

We need lots of helping hands for this project. It will be a shining example of conservation once we are completed with all of the buffer plantings and river restoration.<o></o>
