Welcome back to the new NEFF. Take a break from Twitter and Facebook. You don't go to Dicks for your fly fishing gear, you go to your local fly fishing store. Enjoy!

"You can observe a lot just by watching." Y. Berra
Good morning.

In the interest of fair and honest dealing which we pride ourselves in, let me be the first to bring you the current 9:00am Wednesday, April 27th river conditions and the weather forecast for the Catskill / Upper Delaware River region for the next few days.

As you can see from our spiffy charts below, all of the Catskill tailwaters and freestones are high and muddy from last night drenching...and guess what? Take a gander at the doppler radar and look at that front near western Pennsylvania right now.

Our crack team of analysts have determined that the next bout of precipitation will arrive after midnight tonight and into Thursday.

In the event that venture up to our fair region please wear your inflatible PFD along with your wet suit.

Thank you and we look forward to serving your every need and please don't ever ask me where I got my tan.

Kindest regards and tight lines always,

A.M.

Good morning.

In the interest of fair and honest dealing which we pride ourselves in, let me be the first to bring you the current 9:00am Thursday, April 28th river conditions and the weather forecast for the Catskill / Upper Delaware River region for the next few days.

As you can see from our spiffy charts below, all of the Catskill tailwaters and freestones are high and muddy from last night's drenching and thunderstorms...and guess what? Take a gander at the doppler radar and look at that front near Deposit, New York right now.

Our crack team of analysts have scoured the USGS sites to inform anglers that the West Branch at Hale Eddy, NY is currently at 8.6 feet and rising.

That's right. 8.6 feet!

The Beaverkill which feeds into the East Branch will continue to rise today as will the Main Stem.

In the event that venture up to our fair region please wear your inflatible PFD along with your wet suit before you venture out.

Thank you and we look forward to serving your every need.

For those who are not white water rafting this weekend, I will be at the Hancock Hotel this weekend giving seminars on the three simple steps for getting a really good base tan and how to avoid burning.

Kindest regards and tight lines always,

A.M.
