    WTB Fenwick FF755 fly rod

Thanks for the replies. I am really only interested in the 5 wts, like an FF775 or FF705. I have found one of each and am deciding on what to do. The FF755 is a Woodstream version. Any reason to hold off and wait for the same model prior to Woodstream acquiring Fenwick?

    Moderately priced line advice

There are two fly lines that I am considering, the SA Lefty Kreh Signature series and the Hook & Hackle Hi Floater (which is presently on sale for $25). I want the line for small stream fishing only and therefore casting distance is not an issue. Neither lines have front loops, which also is...

    stockingfoot wader question

I'm not. The RVG II waders are breathables. I'm encouraged by the fact that you had cheapos that took a beating and survived a long time.

    stockingfoot wader question

The wader in question is the Cabelas RVG II. Since it is on sale online at the moment, I was curious whether the thickness of the bootie is a potential problem and therefore it may not be a worthwhile purchase. The booties have high-density bottoms. It is stated that it is a new product and...

    stockingfoot wader question

Is 3 mm neoprene thick enough for the bootie, or is that just asking for a short lifespan? Thanks.

    The third times a charm.

Beautiful fish. It's a good thing that you stopped by the pool for a second attempt.

    Wading boot question

I am presently unemployed (more or less) and do not want to spend a lot on wading boots. Does anyone have any comments on either the Cabelas Guideware Pro Vibram, Caddis Northern Guide Lightweight or Frogg Toggs Anura wading boots? I've tried on the Cabelas boots and they seem fine for what I...

    CT Class 1 beauty

Acting on the advice of BRK TRT, I tied on an SM Fork Tail (size 16) and from a small pocket below the large boulder it enticed this beautiful wild brown to pounce. It would have been a fishless day if this gem hadn't been willing to feed.
