Welcome back to the new NEFF. Take a break from Twitter and Facebook. You don't go to Dicks for your fly fishing gear, you go to your local fly fishing store. Enjoy!
Tying all 3 days. Stop by and say hello!

That's where I was last year. I tied next to the Clear Cure Goo table with George Maciag. I should be in the same spot this year. I'll drop by and say hello for sure.
Hey Ronbo. Glad you mentioned the historical reference. Old hide glues were usually the cause. I agree that with modern, clear glues, this should not be a problem and I would question the maker as well if a new rod had any lines showing. I have a Featherlite that I restored with a 30's vintage...
Hey Rambler. Thanks for checking out the tutorial. Once the wing is split, I push them toward the bend from tie in point. I will then grab each wing separately with thumb and forefinger and pull or tease it down to the spent position. The next step if very important. When you figure eight the...
Wally Wing Tutorial
I finally got all the permissions so the Wally Wing tutorial is up on the website in the blog section.
Thanks for checking it out.

Happy New Year everyone. I've just posted a new blog entry with some interesting hook reviews by Glenn Overton, of Overton's Wonder Wax fame. These were originally conducted by Glenn back in the 1980's and still relevant and interesting today.
Cheers,

HI Karel,
Check my website: http:www.brucecorwin.com and go to the montana pages. I would recommend just going to the West Yellowstone area. That will give you access to more water than you can fish in a month. Tons of wade fishing all over the place. The Firehole, Gibbon, Yellowstone, Madison...
I just received some some rights clearances that I needed to get started on the Wally Wing tutorial. I'm trying to have it done in the next few weeks or so. Maybe sooner.
I've also livened up the "Store" link. Hopefully in time for some last minute holiday shopping. Sorry for the shameless...
Thanks for the compliments! Much appreciated. It is a cool place for sure. I hear that West Yellowstone is snowed in for a change. Last week's newsletter from Blue Ribbon showed about 3 feet of snow in front of the shop.

I didn't see any lady bugs on the site :)
Hey. Just realized that I hid one on the "Shop" page. The page is not ready to go yet so I just put up a placeholder. Kind of like "Where's Waldo" if you can find it :>).

Thanks Ron. I appreciate it. Glad you noticed the ladybug at the show. See you in January. I'm tying at Somerset and trying to think of something different to have ready. There's really nothing new, just packaged in a different way.
Cheers,
Bruce
