    Redington Red.Fly2 Rod

I stepped on the 3rd section of my 2 yr old, 4 piece Reddington Classic Trout rod. I told them it was my fault, and was willing to pay for the replacement, since it couldn't be found anywhere. Still cheaper than a complete rod. Anyway, they replaced it for free. Took just under 2 weeks to my...

    Possibly the Best Floatant EVER....!!

Yeah, gunna spray my motorcycle gear, and not worry about rain, my pop-up camper, fishing hat, vest and pack. Hell, endless uses. Home Depot has is for about $20 bucks for the 2 can kit. I'll try it on a few flies just to test it out first, but I ain't fishin till Fall. To busy crabbing these...

    Possibly the Best Floatant EVER....!!

SHIT, I haven't been here in years, but had to share this and get your opinions. So, I saw this today, and thought of Tons of uses for it. Then, BINGO, goodbye Gink bottle. Coat them at home, and never have to deal with wet sinking dries again. Have a look. What do ya think. <IFRAME...

    Small digital camera recommendations please...

I have the KODAK PlaySport. It's "OK" for HD Videos, and less than "OK" (just OK, not great) for PICs, but at $139, you get what you pay for. I bought it for Video use in the water. I'm saving to get the Panasonic Lumix TS2. It's the best quality I've seen for Pics & Videos. Same deal, water...

Yeah, well, even if I don't catch anything, at least I ain't gunna be at werk...lol I just tied up some wooly buggers using the lighter colors mentioned above. I also have a bunch of muddler minows I guess would work ok, plus I'll just buy some white zonkers. I think I'm good. Just have to...

What do you guys plan to use for opening week in NJ....??

Thanks for the fly suggestions. Yeah, as far as Vacation, I had 40 hours to use or loose, so I "had" to take it. They wanted me to take it this month though, but I was able to at least push it to a week I could fish. I still have 3 weeks vac to use before January, so I'm good.

    My Somerset 2011 Experience

Re: My very own Somerset 2011 thread Yeah, Looks like you guys had fun. I had planned for the wife and I to go, but got home from work Friday to a very cold house. Had to stay home Saturday waiting for PSEG to come. They ended up getting to my house around 2:00 to say after 30 minutes of...

    Waders?

Yeah, I know it's me and the brush 100%. I have those Snowbee waters that are boot foot. Like I said, due to my size and budget, that's what I currently have. In time, I'd like to get a stocking foot with wading boots. Those I'll need to have custom made. So far, I know Simms will do that...

    Waders?

Yeah, Aquaseal is the good stuff. But I've also used Shoe Goo with great results as well.

    Waders?

Since my wife and I both started fly fishing at the same time, we had to buy "double" of everything. That being said, cost was a Major factor with funds being tight at the same time. I bought my wife a pair of Orvis waders. She loves them, no leaks, no issues. Me, on the other hand, since I'm a...
