Just finished a River Runs Through it!
Ok here is the lowdown on Tohickon Creek:
I grew up there and fished it all my life till moving here. Its a put and take fishery for trout. The creek gets choked down in the summer from the dam. Thyere is a great diversity of Insects stones, caddis, some mayflys and a ton of scuds.\, along with bait fish and hellgramites(lots)..trout are stocked in season below Dark hollow road to Point pleasant. It is a decent bass and panfish stream as long as there is water. you can hook into a occasional striper or hybrid. or even a walleye, carp, or musky that get out of the lake.there pickeral too..A 5wt. rod seems to work best.
