Dennis & I have discussed my request for an expanded Product Reviews Section on the board.

I feel it is worthwhile - especially considering the regular & frequent number of questions related to fishing gear ( rods, reels, sunglasses, waders, boots, lines etc., etc., etc. ).

Dennis' view is somewhat more conservative, as the existing input is marginal at best ( especially considering the number of participants and guests that frequent this site ).

We already have a Product discussion forum but I feel that a Product Review database is more enduring & helpful in the long term.

Please participate in the poll.

If you vote to request the categorical expansion of the database, PLEASE spend a few minutes of your time and submit an evaluation writeup on gear that you like or hate.

Considering the number of existing reviews, we may have too many catagories already. Most catagories currently have between zero and three "products".

I guess it would make sense to include reels, lines, boots, and maybe an "other equipment" section, but breaking it down by brand name may be overkill.

Very good idea, however, everything comes at a cost.

More band width, more in monthly fee's for the web site host. Something for everyone to think about before asking for more.

I guess I am like a large majority of the regulars that frequent here at NEFF in that I have a large amount of gear, wether it be for fishing or tying. Some have worked out, alot has not. Those that haven't I am not shy in posting my results. One thing I have observed and learned even with the LL Bean wading jacket thread, it is viewed by many, goggle LL Bean wading jacket and this chat will show up. For anyone thinking that what is posted here stays here, well your wrong. That is why I have mounted a media campaign for the lack od satification of my Korker's. They don't live up to even the barest expectations, and i for one, would not wish anyone else to follow suite and spend their $190.00 USD ( I also bought extra felt and rubber soles) when the product doesn't work in the the real world enviroment that we all fish in.

Let's see how much they are willing to step up to the plate and back their product. If they do the right thing, then yes.. get a pair, I would whole hartedly endorse them. They are great as far as wearing korkers when in the stream, and on the way back to the trailer I stop at All Season Sports to pickup an item or gas at Fat Nancy's I just slip out of th korkers and into the rubber soles and walk right into the stores.. No worries mate.

However, Sib, if they don't standup and do the right thing, I would suggest you save your money and stay clear of that company.

The_Sib try looking into the cloud veil wading shoe I got a pair a while ago and love them. They are the nicest wading boot I have ever used in terms of fit/comfort... they come with two inserts one for wet wading.
