Just want to say hello...

Hi everybody,
I'm new here and want to say hello!
I'm European so please forgive me my bad english, I'm looking for some decent river close to Brooklyn I have heard about beautiful spots but can't drive 3 hours one way
The closest place I'm going is Croton on Hudson but I'm tired already catching 5" small mouth basses and 12" trouts... The biggest fish I ever took of that river was 22" bass but that was 7 years ago...

Probably distance (and driving time) will always be an issue for you. Have you considered saltwater? Much closer to Brooklyn and may appeal more to your statistical bent?
