MACFLY
Too many streams too little time
Whenever I happen to look through Flyfishing magazines some of my favorite pictures are the ones taken of fly boxes. Whether it be an Alaskan guides fly selection for big leapord spotted rainbows or a steelhead fisherman on a BC River searching for the right fly or a spring creek fisherman revealing his box full of microscopic tyes it always makes me think of the possibilities of catching a trout. Fly boxes are the keys to flyfishing for trout. Each one contains a myriad of patterns and selecting the right pattern can lead to success on stream. How many times do you open your box and sit there for a minute trying to decide which fly should be threaded on your line and cast out in hopes of enticing that next fish. Here is one of my fly boxes filled with a bunch of flies. Everything from Prince nymphs to wooly buggers. Apologies for my crappy picture taken with an Iphone in my office as I think about flyfishing instead of work
So whats inside your favorite fly box
