Eventually the wrong fly will become the right one
After another long semester in Syracuse at SUNY-ESF, I finally felt at home when I threw that first cast on a small mountain stream filled with wild brookies with a highly classified name...god I love the DACKS!
This trip was humbling and reassuring. Humbling in watching these little 6 inch fish refuse my adams humpy and reassuring in that I felt just as much joy when landing these brookies as I do with a slob steelie! Not only this, but Im pretty sure breathing in that mountain air sure helped decompress a semester's worth of stress :smiley-sniffer:
Anyways, I attached some photos, enjoy!
