The public will play a crucial role this week toward preserving some of the natural character and landscape of the Poconos.
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the Nature Conservancy will host public meetings Wednesday and Thursday to discuss a study exploring the feasibility of establishing a national wildlife refuge in Cherry Valley.
