Pro Tippet Destroyer...
The "Double Down" event as a follow-up to the July 17th cleanup was a great success. Such a great success it was re-dubbed the "quadruple down event"... That's right we had a goal of 100 more tires and all groups pulled a total of 406 more tires! In addition to that we pulled a lot of trash including bikes, a tv, gas fireplace and a few batteries. At 9am our group started at the Sears bridge (white bridge) in Neshanic and stopped at the 2nd Opie/River rd Bridge in Flagtown at about 9:30pm. Our group pulled approx 156 tires of the 406 total.
Now for the pictures:

Brian holding our redesigned tire rafts
Pulling a steel girder from the river (from the RR bridge maybe?)

Steel girder left on the bank as it was too heavy to float down river
Gas fireplace, left at the bank as it was also too heavy to float
Brian with some tires
Under the River rd bridge
Under the River rd bridge
Eric looking in the deep holes

More stuff
