Savae River Sunday
Re the comment about visiting the Savage River in Maryland and the water was dirty, I would say that it must have been when work was being don on the Dam. As a tailwater, it is very rare that the river is not clear...I live on it and fish it nearly every day running my fly shop, guide service...- mike@savageriver

Just a correction to the 100 best trout streams, the Savage River is located in Maryland, not West Virginia, and the North Branch of the Potomac borders both Maryland and West Virginia....and if you have a Maryland fishing license, you can fish the North Branch of the Potomac from the West...- mike@savageriver
