Thanks for the replys. I have not fished this rod since it came into my hands some 40 years ago. To me it looks like brand new. The cork is some what darkened but not worn, it looks straight, the finish is not worn or cracked. If I could, I would attach a picture for you to check out. Umbagog...- Bill S
