andy, you don,t need to join these clubs , if you spend some time and learning the open water , you can have plenty of opertunity to fish , don, t get fustrated just do your home work, if want to do some traveling the tri state area offers so much fishing and what you spend for a membership you spend on an entire season exploring new waters , get out with some guides , from diffrent states and explore , you will get an education, learn new bodies of waters and methods to catch fish that you never thought existed before . so don,t limit yourself , join a TU chapter and make new friends , and the TU chapter often host trips to various locations , and you can meet some great guys .
