FLY SHOP SERIES - Smoky Mountains Fly Fishing Outfitters

Smoky Mountain Fly Fishing Outfitters - Cherokee, NC

If you are in Gatlinburg you have to take Rt. 441 up and over the Smoky Mountains into
North Carolina and onto the Cherokee Indian Reservation to get to this fly shop.

A small shop but with all the essentials you might need.

It has that Good O'l North Carolina welcome home feel to it.

To me this shop is very important to visit when I am in the Smokies.

Because it is only a few mile from STRAIGHT FORK

Are those rooster tails I see??? LOL.

I will be fishing in the smokey mtn's this year I have family in TN not far from Gatlinburg. You fish the NC side of the mtn's?
Nice pics BTW.

Only Straight Fork, and the Oconaluftee River alongside Newfound Gap Road.

Haven't fished Bradley or Raven Forks yet.

I have spent a total of 4 weeks fishing the Smokies and still haven't seen it all...

If I had 4 - 8 years I guess I would have a chance to see it all.

Maybe.

Oh, you never fished there?

Holy Moly...

We gotta talk.

I wake up some mornings and I can still clearly see the
Greenbrier section of the Middle Prong of the Little Pigeon River.

Was with Chris Tobias on the lower end, couldn't get him off the river
couple of years ago...

So I just waited in the car on the floor till the herd of bears passed by.

Oh yea I'm going this year. The Little Pigeon River is about 10 mins away.
