Drift boat trailer help

I have a 1998 Hyde drift boat trailer that has a blown spindle and you can't just replace the spindle. The axle is a Dexter rubber torsion axle that is custom built they don't mass produce them and the trailer shop I went to said they cost around $450 and can take upto 4 weeks.

I am waiting to call Hyde this morning and see if they have them and can ship me one.. If not should I bite the bullet and get one built or build a normal spring axle for half the price.?

I'm stuck between a rock and a hard spot because I'm without a boat and was planning a trip in the next couple weeks. Any advise anyone has would be great.
