Was at Pt Mnt from 10-2 green caddis larva fished deep. Game warden was patrolling. I'd like to see them there more.

Tight lines is right down the road on 46w in pinebrook. They may have some local knowledge of the river.

This is a crap pic, but I like these hooks. Have tied mostly mayfly and "chutes" with them. The verticle eye takes a little while to get used to and could be a bit bigger. Nice gap no prob with hook-ups.

Things were kind of slow for everyone this weekend. At least the people I talked to. It seemed anyones guess as to what to use during the mornings withe few rising. The afternoons they seemed to be keying on emergers but nothing in particular. In the eve it was sulphurs. I only got to fish a day...

Thanks TF. I had checked with the Catskill Flies site and others. They just list "caddis", but they give specific type of mayflies. Just didn't know what type or pattern of caddis I should be concerned with.

I'm headed up to Roscoe next week. In checking out the reports they list the many varieties of mayflies but only say "caddis". What caddis, color and size would be best? This will be my first time fishing the area. Thanks. Leadhead

If it's the one I am thinking of, they have cabins and a motel on the property. The cabins are not open in the winter. I stayed in a cabin once and the motel once, go with the cabins. Decent prices and the restaurant is very good. lh
