I have a 7' 3 weight JP Ross Beaver Meadow rod with a down locking sliding band reel seat. The problem is the aluminum cap on the butt of the reel seat came off and needs to be glued back on. I think I can handle this myself rather than pay to get the rod round trip to Utica NY and back to NJ...
I don't fish catskill style dries much but I can't resist this one. If I can see it despite the conditions I can't imagine this fly not being very effective. I mainly fish parachutes for their visabilaty(spelling?) and versatility but I can't wait to try these if it's not too late in the season
