Welcome back to the new NEFF. Take a break from Twitter and Facebook. You don't go to Dicks for your fly fishing gear, you go to your local fly fishing store. Enjoy!
Well, it's not like we have a situation when many people are drowning at the same time on a lake or in a stream, so I'd not consider this a valid point.
Even if the PFDs are mandatory, taxpayer $$ WILL BE needed for rescue and salvage personnel. Or do you assume that the tax $$ will go down...
I think wearing a PFD should not be mandatory for adults - one should make his/her own choice whether to put one on or not. I believe it must be mandatory up to a certain age, though.
I personally hate when they impose such laws, as I feel it takes away my freedom. Today it is PFD, tomorrow...
I don't have any at hand so I cannot verify your claim.
Like I said earlier, even if there's acetone present in some of those additives, how do you know you are keeping the right (i.e. safe) proportion of acetone? Simply put, how do you tell the safe amount of acetone you pour in your car...
I hooked into a bat once in a wing - tried to unhook it but it was getting dark and it looked a bit scary, so I just cut the leader as close as possible...
I knew it could bite and I don't like taking chances... :o
Also, the following links can be used to research the gas pricing by a zip code and find the cheapest gas:

Acetone is detrimental to the fuel system and I would not put it in if I were you.
If you want to improve the gas mileage, you are much better of with specifically designed gas additives, such as Techron Fuel System Cleaner, Redline Complete Fuel System Cleaner, etc. The cleaners not only...
My desktop auto-changes to a new random picture every hour (and I got hundreds of them), here's the current one. Don't remember what it is, though, but all I care is that it is beautiful... :o
It all depends how often I have to change the tippet, really.
I asked this question myself and it appears that my leader lasts on average 3-4 trips.
P.S. though last year I sometimes could go through a couple of them in a day-long trip...
I've been a cutomer of Blue Fly cafe for about 2 years till recently when I started tying my own flies. :pimp:
I would say the quality is good, better than at some other places online, though there were sometimes flies in a bulk that were of lower quality than the rest. About a year ago they...
I've been looking around for a juvenile brown trout streamer pattern but with no success.
I was able to find rainbow and brook but no brown.
Could anyone help me please? :o
The thing that many people dislike about lures being used for trout fishing is that most of the trout caught and released will NOT survive... Anyone who thinks a trout can survive a treble hook after being played for some time is probably not thinking straight...
I saw it too...
Thanks, guys, for your answers - a friend of mine convinced me into buying Cabela's Master Guide boots... Almost twice less the price was also taken into consideration...
On the other hand Master Guide is 9-3/4" tall, while RiverTek is just 6" tall, which makes RiverTek a better option in case of the wader's built-in gravel guards?? :confused3
I'd like to purchase a new pair of wading boots and I really like both Simms Rivertek model and Cabela's Master Guide (within this price range):

I've never owned Orvis waders but from what I heard Orvis has the highest return rate on waders among all other companies. Do not intend to discourage, but it's what I heard.
I'm sure there are some people on this board who will tell from their personal experience. :fish:
P.S. I can vouch for...
