Welcome back to the new NEFF. Take a break from Twitter and Facebook. You don't go to Dicks for your fly fishing gear, you go to your local fly fishing store. Enjoy!
The italian dishes at raimondos have been very good. Pizza just OK. But the veal and chicken specials were super a couple nights.
Lotsa good pizza in NJ. Paulies on Rt 3 west next to honda place.
Star pizza in W. orange, Reservoir tavern in Boonton. Need I go on?
Actually just one ankle(driving ankle) , but believe me thats enough. Yeah, fly tying will be good for me once swelling starts to decrease.
Thanks for your well wishes

Andy,
Just received the flies on thurs. and they look great. Unfortunately I broke my ankle 2 weeks ago and it looks like I'll have to wait until spring to try them out but it gives me something to look forward to while I rehab. Great job with those flies guys. Thanks again for running the swap...
On this note does anyone know a place you can send or take your breathable waders to have seam leaks repaired? Cabela's G Plus Gold not quite 2 years(lots of use) before leaking started. I have had neoprenes last a long time (like 9 years) but then again they're neoprene not breathables.

Atually my bass like a traditional weedless rig better most of the time but lord they do LOVE them senkos don't they? Its unnatural sometimes. I've turned about a dozen kids at local lake onto bass fishing. After watching my kids pull out about 5 or six 1-4 lb. bass you gather a crowd of little...
March Brown Parachute because my 4 biggest fish on dries this year came on it . 2 Delaware bows coming up Bkill 19+20" on consecutive casts and 8-10 good browns on Willow. This was my go to at dusk whether they were hatching or not it didn't seem to matter as long they had come off in past week...
The knot you are describing sounds like or is much like an Arbor knot that I use to tie my line onto spin reel or backing to fly reel. Do you tie it so it just cinches to hook or so its caught in an overhand knot as here? Here is good diagram.

Cogratulations Andy. They grow up fast don't they. Mine are 9 and 11 and it seems it was just a couple years ago that they were born. Now you can start pestering your daughter about when they're gonna start tryng to give you that perennial Disney excuse. Congrats again and best wishes.

I like the Scientific anglers and orvis is good too. Haven't tried wulff. Tip for those who can wait. If you like orvis or scientific anglers you can find great deals on ebay(as low as 15-30 bucks for 55 dollar lines) during winter and be all set to go in spring.Other brands- there isn't enough...
I do something like this with midge pupa. I use tiemco 5288 hooks 3x wide gap and tie short pupa on shaft to imitate smaller than 24-26's. Fish don't seem to mind( except in real slow pools) and bite on these hooks is superb. 24 fishes like an 18. So I think probably will work pretty well. Good...
Funny we were thinking along same lines willow. My usual caddis are a little different in that I use tan antron for tail/shuck sometimes(like on all these in the fly swap ) that fishes down in the water a little like an emerger. Good fly in that it can be taken for caddis, small hopper or even...
Sorry didn't make it this morning. Got to bed too late and a buddy is coming over today so we can take his daughter fishing for first time (should be fun if I can put her on a 2 lb bass). Maybe next weekend we can hook up. BTW Any ideas about Maine area I'll be in? Thanks. Hope you had a good...
