    Musky Gorge

Thanks Rusty- so is the Warren side the side opposite from the park? The no treaspassing signs I saw were on that side. I didn't see much access to the other side. I'll have to go back and explore!

    Musky Gorge

A couple years ago I headed to the musky gorge to fish/explore. Caught a few trout and had a nice hike to boot. Anyway I went back this past fall and found most of the area along the river posted with no trespassing signs- I assume from the paper mill. Any info as to whether this area is still...

    The Pikes

I've been hunting pike for the past two weeks since I got lucky and hooked one my first time out on the P. Finally landed one large, fat pike yesterday. Had another inhale my fly and spit it out before I could react. The one I landed broke my wire tippet and destroyed my fly while landing him...

    Esox lucius and politicus

Fly rod-- from land. Have to choose the spots carefully where I can cast. I see you kayak-- I might give that a go. How difficult do you find it to launch and retrieve? Also I think I need to tie bigger flies- that's a serious sized fly :)

    GB mag

This is top notch investigative journalism- it's the first reference online I've seen on the ASMFC report. I guess the striped bass fisherman are too busy loading up on bass before the new regs take effect.

    Evening pikes

Nice fish- are "the pikes" more active at dusk or particular time of day? How about overcast vs sunny days?

I do- it's a scientific theory. My 12 year old is study it now. Here is a definition for it but it's hard to discuss science with someone who is scientifically illiterate. Either way no one is changing anyones mind here. As a scientist it is disappointing how little Americans understand and...

Sunday morning FRUITCAKE seminar at the Symposium with, Gary Borger 7:30am

I'd suggest you go back and take high school biology and review the theory of evolution. That's unless you were home schooled by Christian fundamentalists then all bets are off. :)

    Biggest Trout so far.

Not sure if this is the article your were referring to--it related to steelhead mortality but I'm sure it applies to other species as well. http://www.ginkandgasoline.com/steelhead/you-may-be-killing-steelhead-and-not-even-know-it/
