    12/15/09 - quick trip...

    this is from last tuesday when the weather was less winter-like. caught some nice wild browns the wild tiger trout was the highlight. based upon my own numbers(i've kept track since 1981), the odds of catching one are about 2500 to 1. rare indeed... the fly of choice was a Orvis Beadhead...

    Christmas Eve day fishing...

    Fished a stocked trout production stream today. Caught 29 brook trout, 7 browns and 1 stocked rainbow. Beadheads were once again deadly on the wild trout. Stream was fairly small and cyrstal clear which made for tough angling, but I never went more than 3-4 minutes w/o hooking or seeing a trout...
