    When I decided it was finally time to get into Fly Fishing I found out there are no good trout streams in my area. Oh well. Looks like I will be putting some mileage this year. Not a big deal though. Unless gas keeps going up. Sandy Hook is a great saltwater haven for fishing. I worked there...

    I believe you. I'm already looking to purchase a smaller rod so when I go on multiple vacations to Colorado each year, I will have a smaller rod to bring with me and something easier to carry when backpacking in the Rockies.

    Thank you Joe D.... I mentioned that I bought everything that I believe I need "to get me started". I was told to buy a decent starter combo, but thought "well if I buy a combo sooner or later I will want to upgrade it". I didn't want to go that route. So I ended up buying a Pflueger...
