Welcome back to the new NEFF. Take a break from Twitter and Facebook. You don't go to Dicks for your fly fishing gear, you go to your local fly fishing store. Enjoy!
Just curious. Haven't been up that way in a couple years. How is it fishing?
Late May early June? Water levels?
Any wild fish caught? Size?
Hatches?
Any info appreciated. Considering making a run up there for a few days next year.
Thanks!
Steve

Awesome trip. Went out to the Watch Hill reefs Thursday afternoon around 3:00. Tide starting pushing good around 4:30 and thats when the show started: Chunky Stripers busting on squid, tail-slapping them and...
Anyone done this?
I am going out Thursday to fish from an 18ft Hewes on the flats of Peconic Bay and gardiners Island. First time Sight fishing for Stripers. Guide says it's a lot like Bone-fishing, which I've done a few times.
Weather looks like it may cooperate.........
Pumped up! :applaudit
The battle for my angling heart is being won by the brine, even though I haven't been out yet. Anyone else experience this?
So busy with work/family/house etc, my time on the water is limited. But now is prime time for both trout and salt and I just do not have the luxury of doing both. Looks...
I must say, things have changed a lot since I first started fishing for trout in NJ. I took my 2 little guys up to Lake Ocquitunk on Wed. and we fished the Flatbrook a little and then the lake. 12-14 inch rainbows galore. Apparently they are still stocking the lake. I thought that was over by...
all hell breaks loose.
It sure feels like fall today. Temps drop, bait moves, fish bite.
Stevie's line goes tight!!
Man I love the fall.
I'm thinking Tuesday morning. Who's game?:D
Blues, Stripers and weakies. Even got a fluke.
It's on guys.
I know, I know, it's trout time too!
What to do, what to do!
Anyway, if you were thinking about salt: They're here!
Hi all. Looking for some help here. Thinking about taking the ride to the boyscout camp again tomorrow, this time with my 13yo son who is off from school. Need to know what water level and clarity is like, if anyone can help. Dont want to make him do the 1 1/2 hour drive and have to turn around...
Heading out for my maiden voyage on wednesday........anyone else in the vicinity game? Meet at the boy scout camp?
Anyone know whats hatching? Flies that are working? Water color?
I have not been out yet this year and I am ACHING for it.
What should I tie?
Of course none of my questions...
OK, who can help out a city boy here? ( I'm in Nutley)
I'm thinking of heading out for trout tomorrow, but I need to know how much raiin we've had and the effect on streams:
Resica Falls?
Big Flatbrook?
Pequest?
Seems to me there hasn't been really enough rain to turn things into chocolate...
