    Reels for trout

Like my Ross Evolution, money buys lightness, feel, drag,sound-hopefully good solid machinery. Guess it don't matter much unless your into big fish. Myself, I'll be shopping for a high end reel again next go-around.

Dennis, Weekend after next I plan to stay two nights at The Deleware River Club, so far the only WB fishing I've done is right by the lodge. Yes the water produced some nice fish but I don't know Jack about the river. I know the facility has a shop, is there a shop in Starlight, I need more...

If I were to use an indicator it would be a good buoyant dry fly.

    Fly Fisherman/ NJ Streams

Where ever you go... there you are... A Trout Fisherman. It's good to have an idea where to opportunistically wet a line. One can only hope for the best, good locals etc. Some out of the area anglers can widen your thoughts, style and ideas.

    Strike indicators

I never liked indicators. My styll of nymphing is to try to just feel the nymph, it touching things, it's drag and lack of drag etc. Use to watch line but I don't seem to do that as much lately. Sometimes I see that snapping mouth or roll, change of behavior. I guess it's a personal styll thing.

Was on Flat Brook below Walpack Sunday. Worked hard to catch/release seven regular rainbow trout. One guy hooked into a nice 18"er or so and lost it. Water was quit high during flood, saw some interesting changes. The fishing is in general good but Sunday it was slow. I think I'll wait till next...

    Fly Line Selection

Thank You All, SA trout seems popular, will look at Sage product too... as it often does for someone with my buying personality ... it gets a little confusing. I usually end up with a pretty good product. Like wine, good whiskey, etc some things take a breath & depth of experience to...
