I am looking to hike to some of the ADKS pond for the day does anyone have any suggestions on a easy hike or something that will be worth the fishing. I just picked up a new rod and reel combo from Orvis and want to go and give it a try.

Can anyone tell me where would be a good place to fish the battenkill in New York. Someone said by Greenwich is good. I have never fished it but hear some great storys and want one for myself. Thanks

i AM GOING TO THE SCHROON RIVER FISHING ON SUNDAY AND I KNOW THAT EVERYONE SAYS GO TO THE DAM BUT IS THERE ANY OTHER HOT SPOTS OR BIG POOLS THAT I CAN HIT. I GET OFF AT 23 AND TAKE RIVER ROAD DOWN. ANYTHING ALONG THAT STRETCH MAYBE
