Welcome back to the new NEFF. Take a break from Twitter and Facebook. You don't go to Dicks for your fly fishing gear, you go to your local fly fishing store. Enjoy!
Hello all
Thinking of a couple day trip to RI want to fish for trout. Anybody know if the waters in Arcadia Forest/park(?) area cold enough to fish? If you have any ideas feel free to PM me if you would like.
Thanks
PA Mike

sorry for the late response. Yes I did. That last picture was a fish from the brook. Very nice brook. I was there for a couple hours and caught quite a few energetic fish.

Drove up Wed. and set up the tent at American Legion-Austin F Hawes state campground. Waterworker- site 3 and 5 were reserved was in #4. Hit the the river and caught a few fish. The last one was caught on a WTMA I stopped at on the way home.
Hello
Looking to go fishing for a couple days. Prefer trout but smallies OK. Looking for suggestion for a campsite-tent- near fishing. A couple of days during the week either this week or next. Any help would be very appreciated.
Thanks

AK My wife says I have to stop saying Bahhh HAaa-bah. Said all week on vacation and still saying it at home.
Greyfox the carriage roads are real nice for biking, packed gravel and nice and wide. There is about 50 miles of road (trails) throughout the park. Some steep sections but doable even...
Trip was great. Hiked some trails biked the carriage roads. Ate lobster, drove the park loop. One rainy day drove north to see moose and did. Mother and calf twice. Caught some fish.
Thanks for the ideas and suggestions had a great time.

Thanks for ideas.
Afish- how far is the Penobscot from Bar Harbor and is it big water? Can I wade or need to float?
Drumik- lazy man lobster?
Thanks again
Going with the wife to Acadia this summer, for a week around July 4. What would be my best bet for trout? Any in the park? Any recommendations? Other than fishing any must do's or must see's in the area?
Thanks
Mike
