Why is it we think we are outside the chain of events "global chaos" (we must save the earth) instead of just a link in an organic, unpredictable system? Humans have not created anything that the raw ingredients did not originate on earth, so why is it a negative, foreign or other than nature...

I'm hunting down all info on 7'6" 5wt. Amulet tapers, I'm looking to find the origin, it's action and how long it's been a classic taper. I've scoured the net and the few boo books I've got and nada. If anyone finds or knows anything about this taper I'd love to hear about it. :)

Fishing Dork status all stared around a camp fire to define those who spend (In some peoples opinion, read those who catch small fish) way too much time, money and effort in the sport of flyfishing..... I ran with it and consider it a badge of honor today :D

Got's nothing to do with PC, I just like the word.....Fisherfolks, Flyfisher, Fisherdork......The list can go on and on.....I like to mix it up a bit, life gets boring if I keep using the same old fly....:D

My got to hatch book is the same as BigBow's: Thomas Ames Jr.....Hatch Guide for New England Streams (and Adirondacks). Also check out his book Fish Bugs, it has breathtaking photos and additional info on each insect.

Sweet vid and fine fly. I think the simple flies catch fish and the complicated flies catch fisherpeople.... I'm sure those would work way up north as well! Thanks for make the vid...
