This is the 1st am in 3 weeks i did not get up for the dawn patrol...the reason the catching has sucked. Very few fish...even the pluggers and jetty jocks are scratching their heads...it's just been to warm...these cooler nights with the strong westerlies should cool the inshore waters...

I caught 1 a few years back in late oct. Way upstream below the old weir in farmingdale on a rooster tail...it was only about 15-16" fought like hell...beautiful colors almost looked like a steelhead ...but it was a brown very bright almost silver like sides..no picture sorry... Only i ever saw...

West is best, low tides until the 1st 2 hours of incoming. Low tide concentrates the fish and bait reveals,cuts, drop offs, holes and points as where to fish. Less water concentrates the fish. :)
