Today is probably not the most ideal day to be on the river or plant your favorite plants (Then again, as the saying goes, a bad day of fishing is always better than a good day of work). It's going to be hit or miss for the next few weeks with temps fluctuating between now and the first week of May. Typically for me, the first week of May is the best time to fish the Upper D although, the past week looked pretty damned good!

Cross Current Outfitters
The Delaware River Club
The West Branch Angler
Those are just a few, there are plenty of other really great guides (Ben Rinker for example) who will get you on fish.
All 3 have very good guides (actually, the best!). All are located right on the Delaware River within a few miles of each other. Cross Current promotes night fishing to the gills and I'll tell yah, if you haven't tried it, you are missing out on the time of your life.
A little about night fishing... If you've ever been on the D at night, after a good long day of fishing and leaving the river at 10, maybe 11pm... You've heard those big slurps on the banks. If you don't know what I'm talking about, you're really missing out on a great time.
