Welcome back to the new NEFF. Take a break from Twitter and Facebook. You don't go to Dicks for your fly fishing gear, you go to your local fly fishing store. Enjoy!
Eagle claw, what type of glue did you use? I was thinking of tying that, after all it was only about a half inch to maybe an inch. The rod itsself wasn't a real expensive rod. It is a reddington rs3 4wt. But it is my go to rod on many days...
Went out today to cast a few and ended up slidding down the hill. When I got up, I found that my rod tip had broken. About a half inch. So I was wondering if anyone knew how to make repaires to a broken tip? Any info would be apriciated.. _Duane
Yeah, I realize that the thought of fishing warm water fish with spey fly's might offend a few die hard stealheadders. But I love tying them, so if it works I'll use them.
I have had pretty good luck with them. They seem to just on a spey fly just as fast as any bugger. The fact that I love tying them makes it all the better.
Reciently I have been playing around with skd glasso style flys on smallies, and have found them to be very effective. Is there anyone else out there that has simular results?
